This carbon-specific, two-component epoxy sealer provides a transparent base coat ideal for all of your carbon surfacing projects. It is specially formulated to deliver excellent adhesion to carbon substrates and, once fully cured and sanded with 600–800 grit, accepts paint and graphics directly without additional coatings. While not a high-build product, small pinholes can be carefully dabbed between coats or filled after final sanding using our UV clear product for a smooth, flawless finish. This sealer requires a well-ventilated workspace and is intended for professional use only.
Product is delivered as one quart of epoxy and one quart of activator. The mix ratio is 1:1 and can accommodate up to 10% Xylene as a reducer (must be purchased locally). The mixed material will appear an amber color in the pot but sprays out transparent on your carbon parts. This product is meant to act as an adhesion coat and is not intended for high-build.
